My day in a word: TORMENTA

Cuando lloras por las veces que intentaste
y tratas de olvidar las lagrimas que lloraste
solo tienes pena y tristeza
y el futuro incierto esperas
Puedes tener paz en la tormenta

Muchas veces yo me siento igual que tu
y mi corazon anhela algo real
el Senor viene a mi
y me ayuda a seguir
en paz en medio de la tormenta

Puedes tener paz en la tormenta
fe y esperanza cuando no puedas seguir
aun con tu mundo hecho pedazos
el Senor guiara tus pasos
en paz en medio de la tormenta

I know probably no one understands that, but I just needed to write. Thank you Lord for giving me peace in the middle of the storm. Dobbie.

My day in a word: PARTY

Hello xanga world. How is everyone doing. I hope splendid. I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas and is planning on having an incredible and safe New Years. My Christmas was incredible. Right after Christmas I headed back to Springfield to help with a winter retreat for about 400 kids from all different churches. It was an incredible couple of days. I am heading out to Colby, Kansas tomorrow to help with a New Year's all-nighter. There will be approximately 1200 kids coming and I am very excited, plus there will be a concert, so that's an added bonus. The weather has been real bad out there because it is right by Colorado, so hopefully everything will be fine on the way out and back. Once I get back, it will almost be time for my birthday. I will be turning the big 21 on Friday, January 5th, so if you don't have any plans you should stop by my house around 7pm for festivities. lol. Hopefully I will see some from the xanga world soon. Much love to all and God Bless.

My day in a word: FREE

Free at last, Free at last, thank God all mighty I am free at last!!! I just finished my last final (my 11th final). I had two finals on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday and five on Tuesday. I am just happy it's all over. That's right folks, the next time someone tells you that it is impossible to take 28 credit hours in one semester, you can tell them that they are wrong. My GPA slipped a little bit, but I still have a 3.5 or better, so overall I am absolutely ecstatic (and tired). I get home Friday night, probably around 9 o'clock and will be home pretty much through January 7th. I will be gone some of that time for a wedding and then a winter camp, but I am excited to be home and watch some TV and kill some of these brain cells that I have worked so hard on getting this semester. I turn 21 on January 5th. Man I am getting old. Anywho. Hopefully I will post again before the next 4 months, but I am not making any promises. Much love to all, and God Bless.

My day in a word: BUSY

Such is everyone's life, isn't it. Busy busy. I guess life wouldn't be very much if we weren't busy. What good is it to sit on a couch and veg for a whole day when you can be out learning more and growing. But as such, life tends to get pretty busy. Such is my life. I am so busy with school and homework that I get approximately 3-4 hours of sleep a night. I am in class from 7:30 to 2:05 MWF and from 7:30 to 6:45 TR straight. No breaks. But, that is how I like it. I only plan on doing this craziness in the fall, since there are so many breaks in the fall and only one in the Spring. Here at BBC we are out of class for BBF National Meeting, Presidental Lectures, Missions Emphasis Week, and Thanksgiving. I figure I have only 12 weeks left until finals, not counting all the breaks. I can make it. It is all about discipline and determination. Plus I love proving people wrong who say that it can't be done. Also, my spiritual life has never been better. I have really been growing closer to God this year, which is amazing as always. The RA ministry has been very exciting and I have tons of stories from that too. LOL. Hope everyone is doing great in Xanga-land. If anyone could use any prayer, please hit me up. Much Love to all and God Bless.
